We get this question all the time; what is the difference between the Skylar full size (1.7 oz) and rollerball?
Well – in a word, NOTHING. And –EVERYTHING.
The formula inside is exactly the same, but it’s all about the application. Your 1.7 is the perfect way to clean up your beauty counter – it lives at home. Give yourself an all-over spray after the shower and before you get dressed. The pump on the full-size bottle allows for a wider range of scent to hit the skin during application.
The Skylar Rollie is perfect for re-application throughout the day. Keep a rollie in your purse, the car, wherever! We recommend applying to pulse points –roll on wrists, neck, and cleavage. Your heart is your biggest pulse point, as the heat from your body rises, it lifts the scent upwards.
Apply fragrance where you want to be kissed, so if it’s a big night, have fun – the small of your back, behind your knees, even your ankles are great pulse points!

One of the most common questions we are asked is how to make your fragrance last longer. We totally understand! We love our fragrances too, and want them to last all day long!
There are a few ways to get your favorite Skylar scent to last throughout the day. First things first, start your spritz off right. To give your fragrance longevity throughout the day, we recommend applying your fragrance after you’ve gotten out of the shower and moisturized before your skin is completely dry. Spraying onto warm, damp skin helps the scent adhere to your skin, locking it in for the day.
Next, liberally apply your fragrance to your body's pulse points- your chest (your heart is your largest pulse point!), your arms, your neck, and if you want to really make it last, behind your knees. The warmth of the shower will open your pores and allow the scent to really anchor onto your moisturized skin. To get the most out of your favorite Skylar scent, we recommend using an unscented or complementary lotion for moisturizing.
Finally, right before leaving the house, spritz (or roll) your scent on your fingers and run through your hair. Hair is a great scent carrier since it doesn’t produce body heat, which is what burns fragrance off the skin. Avoid spraying directly into your hair as that can be drying.
Even with the best application, perfumes won’t last all day. Plus, our products at Skylar do not contain phthalates, which are used by traditional perfume companies to make scents last longer. When you need a little touchup, our Travel Rollies are the PERFECT companion for throwing in your purse, allowing you to reapply throughout the day.
You can also use the rollies to take your favorite scent up a notch, by layering with a complementary Skylar scent. We love to keep two in our purse so we can mix it up and smell fabulous from day to night.

Now that you've received your beautiful Rollies in the mail, it's time to start playing with your scents. Here are 5 tips on our best-in-class Rollie practices.
1 – Start your day with your Skylar and set your intention with your scent. After the shower, while your skin is still warm and moist, spray your favorite scent all over. Spraying right after the shower will help your scent to last longer.
2 – Before leaving for the day, make sure to pack your favorite travel-sized Rollie. Keep one in your purse for in between meetings or a mid-day pick-me-up for pulse-point application.
3 – Get creative! You may have left the house in an Isle kind of mood, but pack Coral or Meadow to add a playful punch of scent mid-day.
4 – Layer to create your signature! Spray your favorite Skylar scent as your signature base. Then, to create your own custom Skylar combination, layer Meadow after Isle. The creamy, sheerness of Isle blends beautifully with the floral middle note of Meadow.

1. Prep your skin.
For the purest scent experience, start your layering right after you've gotten out of the shower and applied your lotion. Fragrance molecules want something to bind to, so natural moisture helps each note ring true.
